Elisheva

Based in New York City, Elisheva is an acclaimed dancer and instructor, sought out for her signature fusion: A sophisticated blend of bellydance, jazz, and hip-hop she has developed into a unique style of Tribal Fusion bellydance. Elisheva has a BFA in Modern Dance, is IFTA Certified, and Level 1 Certified in the Suhaila Salimpour Format. Her extensive dance training has given her the opportunity to tour, perform, and teach in Europe, Asia, and off-Broadway with professional hip-hop, jazz, and modern dance companies, as well as with the "Bellyqueen” bellydance company. Elisheva has performed in shows with international musical powerhouses such as Oojami and at the National Geographic Performance Theatre. She has been featured on television series (FOX), current affairs programs, commercials, and in award winning Independent films, as well as seen in top nightclubs in New York City and the Metro New York area for almost 2 decades. Elisheva travels worldwide teaching workshops in Tribal Fusion with an emphasis on popping, locking, and blending bellydance and hip-hop techniques. Her instructional method has won her wide acclaim with its clear format and precision.
